The Natean Clean + Whiten with Fluoride Clean Mint and Natean Clean + Sensitivity Relief with Fluoride Soothing Mint varieties include sodium fluoride to fight cavities with twice daily brushing.
Fluoride is a mineral; the ionic form of the trace element fluorine. The American Dental Association (ADA) recognizes the use of fluoride as safe and effective when included as an ingredient in toothpaste at a certain level, for the purpose of preventing tooth decay. Fluoride disrupts acid production in the already erupted teeth of adults.
Natean products do not contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), sulfate or triclosan. Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) is a common ingredient in toothpastes that creates the foam during brushing but can also irritate sensitive teeth and gums. For this reason, Natean is formulated without SLS.
Natean toothpastes contain no artificial flavors or artificial sweeteners, but instead includes the natural sweetener and sugar substitute, Stevia Rebaudiana Extract.
All Natean products are vegetarian and vegan friendly. There are no animal origin materials used in the processing of Natean products, nor do any contain animal ingredients or derivatives.
All Natean product are both sugar-free and gluten-free.
Natean products are certified as GMO-free/non-GMO.
Natean products do not contain parabens or phosphates.
The Natean Clean + Whiten Charcoal Fluoride-Free Clean Mint formula contains charcoal.
